Making Tunnels in Year 2 Blessed

Flying start

Building bridges
This week our story focus has been the Three Billy Goats Gruff, so we decided to make bridges in outdoor adventures. We all displayed great problem solving skills and lots of team work supporting our friends.

Teamwork

Signs of Summer
In Outdoor Adventures we went a hunt for signs of summer. We found lots of lovely flowers, fruit growing and even a bee!
YRS Centenary Celebrations
We have been looking at old photos from the travelling museum. We tried to recreate a couple of the photographs so we could see how our school and church have changed over the years. We even made our very own time capsule for someone to discover in 100 years or so...

This week we have been researching Jewish festivals. We have made posters about Passover and Hanukkah.

Y1S class library visit
Year 1 Sacrament showed their absolute best behaviour when we visited Ribbleton Library this week. They were perfect walking there and back and their behaviour in the library was amazing. Everyone used their manners and we listened to two lovely stories.

Spreading Good News Y1S
In RE we have been looking at the importance of sharing good news with others. We all thought of the good news of Jesus and then we spread our messages around school.

Hand Hygiene Year 1
