Old toys
1 Sacrament have been looking out schools in the past and as part of this explored some old toys. The children got the chance to play with a ball and cup as well as a spinning top. It was amazing watching all the children try really hard with the tricky toys!

A Christmas Carol
Pupils in Year 5 and 6 enjoyed an afternoon watching the Manactco theatre company perform a KS2 production of A Christmas Carol. Pupils engaged well with the performance making it a splendid introduction to our English unit.

The children enjoyed making and decorating their own birthday cakes. We talked about how the cake mixture changed in the oven just like Kipper’s in the story.

Looking After God’s World
Today we have been learning about how God wants us to look after the world He made for us. We talked about all the things we could do. Keeping things clean and tidy was important to many of the children. After that, we went outside with gloves and litter pickers and tidied up our playground.

Planting bulbs
