Our individual needs and talents are recognised and nurtured in a warm, inclusive environment”, we are committed to ensuring equality of education and opportunity for all pupils, staff, parents and carers receiving services from the school, irrespective of race, gender, disability, faith or religion or socio-economic background. We aim to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity in which all those connected to the school feel proud of their identity and able to participate fully in school life.

Our current equality objectives are:

To ensure equality of access for all.

To ensure smooth transition between year groups/schools

To ensure that all policies consider the implications of disability access.

To ensure that, where possible, the school buildings and grounds are accessible for all children and adults and continue to improve access to the school’s physical environment for all.

To continue to train staff to enable them to meet the needs of children with a range of SEND (including behavioural needs).

To provide specialist equipment to promote participation in learning by all pupils.

To ensure that all parents and other members of the school community can access information.
