Vegetable tasting

As part of our Literacy lesson related to our book Oliver’s Vegetables the children tried different vegetables. The children used all of their senses when trying the vegetables. We looked, smelt and tasted them. We used beetroot, turnip, carrot and cabbage. Once the children had tried all the vegetables we used our literacy books and described what they looked like and what they tasted like.
