Year 4 English

Year 4 poetry slam
To consolidate our poetry unit of rehearsing and performing a poem, both classes got together to battle it out. Lots of great performances using expression and intonation and an enjoyable time had by all. Well done Year 4!

Science Y1S
We have finished our learning about materials i year 1 this week. We will revisit parts of this over the year to keep our learning fresh in our minds.

Looking after our teeth Y1S

What a half term!

6B Science
This term in science, 6B have been exploring the circulatory system and how it affects their bodies. We completed an experiment where they ran a lap of the playground and then recorded how their heart rates had changed.

The Highwayman Freeze Frames
This week in English, we have been looking at the poem, The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes. We have looked at vocabulary within the poem but to help us understand it more we have acted out scenes from the poem!

Reading role models!
